Join (2x) Emmy-nominated choreographer/director Brian Thomas (Michael Jackson, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Liza Minnelli) with Abdiel & Kristine Bendul from the documentary Follow Lead Love for a high-energy class blending commercial choreography, partnering, and on-camera performance. Learn to tell your story through movement while mastering the art of dancing for the lens.

Camera Theater Jazz is an opportunity for students to gain confidence dancing for the camera. Sarah utilizes her professional experience working in television (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Physical, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Étoile) combined with her skills as a teacher and videographer, to create a safe space where dancers can challenge themselves as artists and prepare themselves for professional on-camera work.
Each class begins with a short warm up and culminates in learning a combination that is then filmed individually. During class, students receive constructive, on-the-spot feedback that can be applied in the classroom, on set, and beyond. Each student will also receive their professionally filmed solo video of the combination.
