Refund Policy

Single Classes

  • Refunds (fees may apply) or class credits may be available for early-cancelled single classes.
  • Class credits for BDC-related issues or cash purchases are good for 1 month after which they are null and void—otherwise expiration date will coincide with original class package expiration.
  • Class credits can be used for any one class from our regular drop-in schedule.

Class Packages

  • Class packages are non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be shared.
  • Class Packages may be reactivated ONE TIME ONLY.
  • 5-Class Packages may be reactivated for an additional 2 weeks for a $10 fee.
  • 10- & 20-class packages may be reactivated for an additional 1 month for a $10 fee. Includes all remaining classes.
  • Packages are null and void 1 year from purchase date.
  • NO reactivations for any reason after the 1-year purchase date.

Specialty Rate Single Classes

  • Specialty rate classes are discounted class rates for Union members, dancers with Diamond membership, and members of the military.
  • Classes expire 1 month after purchase.
  • May be reactivated one time only for $10 fee within 1 month of purchase.
  • Classes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be shared.
  • Class are null and void 2 months from purchase date.

Specialty Rate 10-Class Packages

  • Specialty rate classes are discounted class rates for Union members, dancers with Diamond membership, and members of the military.
  • Specialty rate 10-class pacakages expire 6 month after purchase.
  • May be reactivated one time only, for $10 fee within 1 year of purchase.
  • Specialty rate 10-class pacakages are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be shared.
  • Specialty rate 10-class pacakages are null and void 1 year from purchase date.

The Shop at BDC & ShopBDC.com

  • There are NO CASH REFUNDS available.
  • Return merchadise within 60 days (in new or like-new condition) for a prompt exchange (excluding delivery charges). 
  • Defective material will be handled on an individual basis.

Gift Cards

  • Gift certificates are non-refundable.
  • They can be used to purchase classes, class cards, workshops, or merchandise at The Shop.
  • Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
  • Gift cards are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash, except where required by law.

Group Services

  • All refunds for group drop-in classes are subject to a $50 administration fee. Upon approval, unused classes are good for one year and only available to group students.
  • Private Mater Classes are subject to cancellation policy.

Absolute Beginner Workshops

  • Workshops are not pro-rated if you join after the first week.
  • The last date for refunds (less the $25 admin fee) is within 1 week of workshop start date. NO refunds will be given after this date.
  • There are no credits or refunds for missed classes.
  • If Broadway Dance Center cancels a class for any reason a make-up class will be offered.
