Welcome to BDC!
Since 1984, Broadway Dance Center has earned a reputation in the global dance community as a beacon of excellence in dance education. Whether you’re a beginner or an established professional, our state-of-the-art studios and online offerings are sure to have the classes you seek.
BDC offers IN-PERSON, LIVESTREAM, and ON-DEMAND classes, as well as workshops, intensives, and full-time programs.
Dance with us in the studio and online. Choose from either our In-Person or Livestream schedules for live classes or dance on your own time with a BDC Online subscription. With over 100 classes offered weekly, BDC's class offerings are sure to keep you dancing from anywhere.
IN-PERSON CLASS INFO
- View our in-person schedule, and sign up on the BDC website or on BDC's app, up to 3 days in advance. Space is limited. No on-site registrations or walk-ins permitted.
Please make sure to download the Broadway Dance Center APP before your visit, so your student ID barcode is available for check-in. The app conveniently allows you to view your schedule and purchase classes. - When does "sign up three days before class" start? Example: Registration for all classes on Monday opens at 12:00 a.m. the Friday prior.
- You may join the 5-person waitlist. Please make sure you have classes on your BDC Student account.
- If a spot opens up and you are next on the waitlist, you will be notified via email or text up until 12 hours in advance of the class start time. If it is within the 12 hour window, you will be called, emailed or texted to see if you are still able to join us for class.
- Remember if an in-person class is full, you can still take the LIVESTREAM class if the class is hybrid!
- Upon arriving at BDC, please be ready with the following: your student ID barcode on the BDC App so we can check you into your class(es)
- Students should remove shoes before entering the dance studio and leave them outside the room. Bring a clean pair of dance shoes/street shoes to dance in.
If you have canceled your class on the BDC App or on the web browser within in the 12 hours of the class start time, your spot will be forfeited and you will lose the class. If you cancel on the BDC App before the 12-hour window, the class will be credited on your BDC account to be used for a future class.
If you have not checked in or are not present at the start of class time, BDC cannot guarantee your spot in class. Please see the check-in desk for assistance.
LIVESTREAM CLASS INFO
- View our livestream schedule, and sign up for class on the BDC website or on BDC's app, up to 7 days in advance.
- Download the latest version of Zoom on your device prior to your scheduled livstream class. You do not need to create a Zoom login or account to take our livestream classes.
- All class times are in Eastern Time (New York). You must be signed up for class at least 30 minutes prior to the start time of class.
- Watch your inbox for your unique class link within 1 hour of the class start time. This link can only be used once, so please do not share with other students!
- 5-10. minutes prior to class, click your Zoom link to enter the class waiting room. You will be welcomed into the class at class start time.
- Your class link will be emailed from hello@fitgrid.com, so please check your spam and promotions folders as well. If you do not see an email, please double-check your class schedule in your BDC MindBody account to make sure you are enrolled.
- If you are still unable to locate the class link, please email Info@bwydance.com for further assistance.
If you early cancel your class online (up to 2 hours before class start time), your class will be credited back to your account to use at a later time. If you late cancel your class online (within 2 hours of class start time), your spot will be forfeited and you will lose the class.
ON-DEMAND CLASS INFO
- Our new platform, BDC Online, offers students the opportunity to take classes on their own time, without having to schedule a specific time or date. BDC Online offers active subscribers unlimited access to a diverse library of over 100 class pre-recorded class videos in all levels and styles to watch on their own time.
- Choose from either a monthly or yearly subscription to gain access to all Video On Demand classes.
- Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, while yearly subscriptions come at a discount, but are a 12 month commitment.

CREATE YOUR BDC ACCOUNT
Create your BDC Student account online or in our mobile app to sign up for in-person and livestream classes.
VIEW CLASSES
View our class schedules, purchase a single class or class package, and sign up for the in-person or livestream class of your choosing.
ATTEND CLASS!
For in-person classes, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your class. For livestream, please open your emailed zoom link at class start time.
CLASS LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS
BDC offers classes in all levels and all styles. Here's a breakdown of what to expect in each level class.
All dancers of all experience levels are welcome! Whether you're a first-timer or professional dancer, our All Levels classes will keep you moving and dancing.
1-2 years of training. Some prior knowledge of dance terminology is recommended.
2-5 years of training. Basic understanding of discipline and general dance terminology recommended.
5-8 years of training. Complete understanding and proficiency in discipline and general dance terminology recommended.
8-10 years of training recommended.
8-10 years of training recommended.
10+ years of training recommended. Pre-professional and professional level students.
