Teacher Bio

One of the most sought after dancer/teacher/choreographers in the country, Dana Foglia has performed and taught dance both nationally and internationally. She trained extensively in ballet and modern with the Seiskaya Ballet Academy and later on a full scholarship to the Ailey School. Street Jazz

Dana's unique style is a fusion of street styles, modern, jazz, and ballet demanding each student to push beyond their limits. Dana always brings her energy and focus to each and every class and demands a strong work ethic and professionalism, while still encouraging her students. Class will focus on musicality, finding a natural connection with your body and moving organically. Dana teaches her students to approach the work with risk, athleticism, focus, intention and passion!

Stiletto Heels

Dancing in heels is essential for females looking to dance professionally in the commercial industry! Class will begin with a warm up to be done barefoot, preparing the body for choreography done in heels. Dana will focus on the lines of the body, maturity of movement, confidence, and sensuality. Always demanding a strong work ethic and professionalism, Dana aims to push the limits of each and every student. She encourages her students to approach movement with risk, focus, intention, clarity and most of all passion!

Contemporary

A fusion of modern, jazz, ballet, and street styles, Dana's unique style explores a wide range of rythms and angular movements, pushing the limits of each and every student. Dana's passion and focus for each and every class she teaches, demands a strong work ethic and professionalism and encourages her students to support one another and to learn with their eyes and ears. Class will begin with a warm up and then move to choreography, focusing on musicality, moving organically and finding the natural connection of the body. Dana teaches her students to approach the work with risk, athleticism, focus, intention and most of all passion!
