Geheny Rivera (she/her) has over a decade of experience teaching various styles of dance at the recreational and competitive level. A New Jersey native, she graduated from Montclair State University, where she received her B.A. in Psychology with a specialization in Child Advocacy.
...Read moreGeheny Rivera (she/her) has over a decade of experience teaching various styles of dance at the recreational and competitive level. A New Jersey native, she graduated from Montclair State University, where she received her B.A. in Psychology with a specialization in Child Advocacy.
Upon graduating, she completed the Broadway Dance Center Training Program and has been with the Children and Teen Program since 2013. Geheny has trained with choreographers such as Eric Campros, Luam Keflezgy, Jessica Castro, and Rhapsody James, and completed a mentorship with Dana Foglia Dance Company in Los Angeles.

Geheny encourages her students to be versatile movers. There is an emphasis on understanding foundation, grooves, and musicality. She pushes her students to the best of their ability and guides them in using these elements to help develop their own personal movement.
