Teacher Bio
Nick Alvino (he/him) is a NYC-based performer and choreographer and is beyond excited to teach at BDC! Originally from Long Island, Nick moved to NYC after attending Montclair State University, where he studied Musical Theatre and Dance. Shortly after his freshman year, he made his Broadway debut in The Music Man starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster.

Originally from Long Island, Nick moved to NYC after attending Montclair State University, where he studied Musical Theatre and Dance. Shortly after his freshman year, he made his Broadway debut in The Music Man starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster.
Since then, Nick has had the opportunity to perform on Broadway in Death Becomes Her and in NYC Encores! The Light in the Piazza. His regional credits include performances at renowned theatres such as Paper Mill Playhouse, Pittsburgh CLO, and Shakespeare Theatre Company, as well as being part of the 50th Anniversary production of A Chorus Line.
As a choreographer and teacher, Nick has taught at conventions and studios around the world, sharing his passion for dance with dancers of all ages and levels. He has also choreographed competitive numbers and set work for studios across the globe, in addition to teaching masterclasses internationally.
Nick is incredibly passionate about creating a fun, encouraging, and inspiring environment in the classroom and is thrilled to be part of the BDC community!
