About
Develop and deepen your craft as a dance artist while immersing yourself in the creative process of choreography, performance and film, within the rich cultural landscape of New York City!
ARC (Artistry · Research · Creation) is an eight-month, interdisciplinary collegiate-style program that deepens artistic practice through research, historical inquiry, and experiences including attending and evaluating contemporary dance performances. Students will engage in these practices while being guided and supported in the creation of their own original work.
The program places equal emphasis on process and outcome, encouraging rigorous investigation alongside creative production.
ARC culminates in a final capstone project in either dance on film, choreographic work, or live performance, presented at a theater venue and reviewed by a panel of notable critics.
