More than a choreographer, Jona has a special gift for inspiring and leading the next generation of dancers, encouraging them to strive for greatness while building their confidence and self-esteem.

Originally from Atlantic City, New Jersey, Jona pursued his big-city dreams in New York City and built a career rooted in artistry, determination, and a passion for dance education. His belief that dance is an art form that transcends boundaries has taken him around the world, with opportunities to teach and choreograph in Europe, Hawaii, Panama, Canada, Jamaica, and beyond.

Guided by the belief that Strivers Achieve What Dreamers Believe, Jona rose above his humble beginnings and created his own path in the dance industry. Through hard work, resilience, and dedication, he developed his signature style of Hip-Hop Fusion, bringing a fresh approach to choreography that keeps clients and dancers coming back for more.

Jona is a sought-after New York City choreographer known for creating innovative work tailored to each artist, dancer, and project. His choreography has been recognized by Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, Ciara, and The Ellen Show. His professional experience includes work with Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Usher, FOX Studios, Interscope Records, and numerous media and talent agencies.

Jona currently serves as Head Coach of the Brooklyn Nets Kids and the Little Torches for the WNBA. He teaches and choreographs for programs and organizations including Shake the Ground, NYCDA, and other NYC dance studios

For the past 25 years, Jona has dedicated his career to educating, mentoring, and developing young dancers in the commercial dance industry. His mission extends beyond teaching choreography: he strives to equip the next generation with the discipline, versatility, confidence, and professional skills they need to pursue their dreams.
