Jakub Hudlický

Jakub (Dvořák) Hudlický is a Czech choreographer, movement director, and creative director working across feature films, television, live productions, and commercial projects.

He recently served as Movement Director on Resident Evil, directed by Zach Cregger, and is currently working on the upcoming Apple TV+ series Birdwatcher. His film credits also include Hunters Season 2 for Amazon Prime Video.

A four-time Czech Choreographer of the Year, Jakub’s work has been presented in 16 countries worldwide. His creative approach combines cinematic movement, physical storytelling, and choreography to support both narrative and character development.

Jakub is the founder of Movement Studios, one of the Czech Republic’s most successful competitive dance studios, whose dancers have earned more than 140 Czech national titles and over 100 international titles, including Absolute Junior Winner at DanceStar, Best Choreography, and multiple Teacher’s Awards.

He is also the founder of Movement Production, a creative agency specializing in choreography, movement direction, casting, and creative production, as well as the creator of the educational platforms Full Out Camp and Movement Lab, dedicated to developing the next generation of dancers and dance educators.

Before focusing on choreography and movement direction, Jakub performed with the National Theatre, the State Opera Prague, and several other Czech theatres. Today, he continues to collaborate with filmmakers, artists, and creative teams internationally, creating movement that is both visually striking and emotionally authentic.
