Class Descriptions

Ford’s class puts the focus on developing technique, then layering choreography, style, dynamic movement, and storytelling over those technical elements. Dancers will strengthen foundational skills such as alignment, control, musicality, and precision, while exploring stylistic nuances that bring movement to life. Through guided exercises, combinations, and creative exploration, students will learn how to transition from technique to artistry. This class is designed to challenge dancers to grow both technically and creatively in a supportive, inspiring environment. Ford firmly believes that class is a safe space where dancers should feel confident in their agency to explore, take risks, make mistakes, and grow as artists.
