Elly Shepley is a dancer and choreographer located in the New York City tri-state area. She is the founder of the Dance Space NY, and Dance With Elly Shepley LLC- a virtual studio where aspiring high school, college, and professional dance team members can train and improve their precision technique and performance quality. Elly Shepley is a dancer and choreographer located in the New York City tri-state area. She is the founder of the Dance Space NY, and Dance With Elly Shepley LLC- a virtual studio where aspiring high school, college, and professional dance team members can train and improve their precision technique and performance quality. She offers two signature classes- Sneaker Jazz™, and the Flexibility and Kick series.

Elly attended the North Carolina School of the Arts, American Dance Festival School, and is a graduate of Point Park University with a degree in dance performance and a concentration in Jazz. She is also a certified Pilates Mat teacher, and lover of all things fitness and wellness. After college Elly performed in several regional theater productions, and served as a dance captain at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, before dancing in the NFL for three seasons with the NY Jets Flight Crew. While on the Flight Crew Elly was selected for the team's show team all three seasons, and served as a Group Leader for the squad.

Elly prides herself in empowering her students to understand the purpose placement and priority of each stretch and exercise. When you understand why you're doing something, you're more motivated to do it, and you can bring a new understanding and energy to the movement. She can't wait to dance with you, and help you achieve your goals!

Sneaker Jazz™ is a dance class built for dancers looking to audition for high school, college, or pro dance teams, or dancers who love classic jazz technique in their comfiest shoes!
Each class starts with the Sneaker Jazz™ 30 minute warm-up, specifically designed to help you gain strength, flexibility and body awareness. Combos vary between Pom, NFL, NBA and classical jazz styles- all choreographed to help you improve your ability to pick up details, and perform at your very best! We focus on sharp clean lines, performance quality, and style.

The perfect workout for dancers, this class combines HIIT, Pilates, Yoga, and classical dance exercises to help dancers safely and efficiently gain HEIGHT in their kicks, POWER in their leaps, and CONTROL in their extensions. Each class ends with a kickline or across the floor combination. Great for dancers looking to improve their technique, and understand how to warm up and stretch their body properly.
