Christopher Ralph was born and raised in Long Island, N.Y. He began his dance training at Holy Trinity High School, where he was accepted into the theater/ dance program. In 2005 Christopher attended SUNY Purchase College.
...Read moreChristopher Ralph was born and raised in Long Island, N.Y. He began his dance training at Holy Trinity High School, where he was accepted into the theater/ dance program. In 2005 Christopher attended SUNY Purchase College.
Since then, Christopher Ralph has performed with companies and choreographers such as Aszure Barton and artists, Sonya Tayeh, Gregory Dolbashian (The DASH Ensemble), Loni Landon, Rebecca Lazier, Janis Brenner, Patrick Corbin, Doug Varone, and the Metropolitan Opera, FKA Twigs, Gatsby: An American myth, and Life and Trust. And he can be seen dancing in “Saturday Church”, a well received film at the Tribeca Film Festival and the Hulu series Up Here.
All while maintaining his performance career, he is also known for teaching a dynamic and high level of contemporary dance, fusing all styles and all genres of dance. He has been to many countries, and fortunate enough to share his skills with wonderful and eager students. Christopher also teaches a regular contemporary class at other studios. Also, he has taught his contemporary and improvisational techniques at Princeton University and New York University.
