Alyssa Lemons

Alyssa Lemons is a professional dancer and fitness instructor in New York City. 

Most recently, Alyssa finished her sixth year as a Radio City Rockette performing in the annual Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. When she’s not performing her famous eye-high kicks on the Great Stage, Alyssa is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor teaching a number of different classes around the city. 

Originally from Dallas, TX, Alyssa grew up with a strong ballet background and went to the University of Oklahoma with a scholarship as a Ballet Performance major. However, due to an injury her Freshman year she transferred to Dallas Baptist University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Exercise Science. While completing her degree, she developed a new passion for dance and fitness. 

After graduating, Alyssa moved to New York where she participated in Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester. That same summer she was chosen to become a Rockette Assistant and help with their educational classes and summer intensives year round. Through the extensive training in both technique and professionalism she gained while at Broadway Dance Center, Alyssa was lucky enough to fulfill her dream job and be hired as a Rockette just one year after moving to the city. 

Through her studies, physical therapy, and personal training, Alyssa loves the technique and strength behind the style of precision jazz. She combines these elements into her classes and hopes that the attention to detail carries over and helps students adapt to all styles of dance and performance.
