Stephanie Card is beyond thrilled for this full-circle moment as a new faculty member for the Young Children and Teen Program at BDC. She began her journey at age twelve, as a young tap dancer at Broadway Dance Center, traveling from Boston to study with Savion Glover and Jason Samuels Smith. After graduating from Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in Theater Arts, she went on to study with Randy Skinner, Ray Hesselink, Dana Moore, Chet Walker, Diana Laurenson, Jen Waldman, and the late Tony Stevens. As a professional actor, she has performed across the country and internationally, including Jacob's Pillow, Wolf Trap, and the Tianqiao Theater in Beijing. As a director/choreographer, her work has been seen Off-Broadway at The Duke on 42nd Street, The Boston Conservatory, The New School for Drama, Finger Lakes Musical Theater Festival, and The Hangar Theater, where she served as Resident Choreographer. Stephanie believes the arts have the power to transform the world through joy, connection, and inclusion. For more, visit: www.StephanieCard.com
