REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2023-2024 Annual Program is open through October 16, 2023!

Please visit our Semester Program to register for our Fall Semester classes! Classes start September 18, 2023.

PLACEMENT

Details on placement will be sent to any new family enrolled for classes that require placement for the upcoming season: Levels I-V, ages 12-17; Int, ages 9-11.

Registration is required in order to attend placement.

ALL NEW STUDENTS AGES 9-17 registering for classes that require placement must attend placement. Placement will determine if the dancer will continue in the levels selected at registration. If needed, students will be given new scheduling options that match with their level placement.

RETURNING STUDENTS AGES 9-17 should register for the levels received from their level assessments. If returning students would like to try to place higher than the level they were given, they may also attend placement.

Dancers will be notified of placement levels via JackRabbit Portal.

For all students, assessments of correct levels will continue throughout the first few weeks of class to ensure that all dancers are appropriately placed. Finding the right fit for your dancer will ensure they are in the best environment for growth!

REFUND POLICY

If your dancer drops a class or the program after October 16, 2023, you will be charged for the following month's tuition. You must notify the CTP staff IN WRITING via email at ctp@bwydance.com (W45) and/or w65info@bwydance.com (W65). If no notification is given when dropping classes, YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE TUITION PAYMENT.

No refunds, for any reason, will be given after October 16, 2023.

CLASS SIZE

The average class size has 15 students. We must have a minimum of 6 registered students in order to hold a class.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Our annual program is a commitment from September-June. To best support your child’s training, CONSISTENT ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED.

  • Students are allowed a total of 4 absences for the entire season.
  • If more than 4 absences occur during the dance season, you may be asked to withdraw from the program.
  • Absences include school testing, religious commitments, illness, family events, etc.
  • Students are required to attend the 3 classes leading up to the showcase.
  • Students are required to attend the Showcase dress rehearsal in June.
  • If your child has a planned absence, written documentation must be emailed to ctp@bwydance.com (W45) or w65info@bwydance.com (W65) prior to the event.
  • For their safety, your child will not be able to participate in class if they arrive more than 10 minutes late for an hour class or 20 minutes late for a ninety-minute class. They must observe the class and take notes. This will be strictly enforced.

It is imperative to your child’s success that this program is viewed as a serious commitment.

Professional Children

Children who work professional jobs are allowed a total of 6 absences for the season. If absences exceed six, they will be asked not to participate in the showcase, but may continue classes. Written proof documentation of the job must be given to Allie Beach prior to the job’s start date. The 6-class extension only applies to documented jobs. Absences for auditions are discouraged.

Make-up Class Policy

Annual students are entitled to two make-up classes for the season. Parent/Guardian must email ctp@bwydance.com (W45) or w65info@bwydance.com (W65) to coordinate a make-up class. All make-up classes must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class and be in the same genre and level of dance as the original class.

The last day to make up classes is April 1, 2024.

TRIAL CLASS POLICY

Are you trying to decide which class to register for? If you are still undecided, we invite you to participate in a trial class!  Come try a class of your choice for a fee of $35. If you decide to then register for that class, your trial fee will be deducted from your tuition!

No trial classes will be permitted after October 16, 2023

PARENT OBSERVATION

We invite parents to join us the week of January 15-21, 2024 to observe their dancers in classes.

Outside of parent observation week, observers are only permitted to watch from our monitors in the lobby. This allows us to create an environment where our students can concentrate without distraction. Should you have any questions regarding your child's class or training, you may always email or call us.
