Sarah Tracy is a NYC based performer and educator. Sarah Tracy is a NYC based performer and educator. Hailing from Virginia Beach, VA, she attended the Governor's School for the Arts magnet school and went on to join the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training program in San Francisco where she performed as a soloist in works by LeeWai Chao, Carmen Rozestraten, Kara Davis and Talia Fowler. Later, she had the pleasure of working as Dance Captain and Company Manager aboard Holland America Line cruise ships with whom she completed 5 contracts touring upwards of 20 countries including Spain, France, Argentina, Brazil and even Antarctica.
Currently, Sarah is Principal Dancer and Dance Captain with Nathalie Marrable’s The Cabaret Burlesque who have now presented the off-Broadway show Tied Up and Twisted twice to sold-out audiences. She can also be found performing in the ensemble with Jody Sperling’s Time Lapse Dance as well as supporting multiple bands with contemporary movement including Reliant Tom, Gentleman Brawlers and Dhara.

The Cabaret Burlesque class, created by Nathalie Marrable, is inspired by Parisian cabarets such as Lido and Crazy Horse. Using her experience as a solo burlesque act in Europe, Nathalie created this style as an opportunity for students to learn the unique and classy art of striptease. Warmup includes showgirl walks, getting comfortable with lyrical floor work, and using props such as gloves and chairs. Choreography is usually theatrical as students are encouraged to create "their own show". There are no wrong choices, only solos! This is a safe and empowering environment in which to experiment with the art of stylized striptease. Bring an oversized button down shirt and dress in whatever makes you feel fabulous. Heels are recommended. Class is appropriate for those with or without dance experience and gender-inclusive. Everyone is welcome!
