Paul McGill was raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He was trained by notable local teachers like Lenora Nemetz and Rachel Rak.
At 17, Paul made his Broadway debut and has worked consecutively since. His Broadway performing credits include La Cage aux Folles (2004), A Chorus Line (Mark), Memphis, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and Bullets Over Broadway.

At 17, Paul made his Broadway debut and has worked consecutively since. His Broadway performing credits include La Cage aux Folles (2004), A Chorus Line (Mark), Memphis, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and Bullets Over Broadway.
On TV, Paul has been on NBC’s Smash, Nickelodeon’s Victorious, as well as numerous talk shows and award shows.
On film, Paul has been in the Academy Awars and BAFTA Award winning documentary Man On Wire, the horror film, House Hunting, and most notably, he played Kevin in the 2009 remake of Fame.
Behind the scenes, Paul has choreographed for both stage and screen. He tailored the physicality of Broadway’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch to Tony Award winner John Cameron Mitchell, Darren Criss, Michael C. Hall, and Taye Diggs. Off-Broadway: The Legend of Georgia McBride (Astaire Award, Lortel Nomination), Steve, directed by Cynthia Nixon, and School for Scandal. Film: Diamond Soles, ALT Coffee Commercial. Circus: Filament (World Premier), Grounded Aerial.
Paul also trained Laverne Cox for her starring role in Rocky Horror Picture Show on FOX.
