Natalie's Basic Tap class is for the dancer that wants to improve their basic tap skills and vocabulary, whether it is to learn how to tap for the first time, or to brush up on skills learned long ago. The style is mostly Broadway-style tap, in style of Eleanor Powell, Fred Astaire, Ann Miller. Class will begin with a follow along warm-up, followed by tap progressions, both across the floor and at center, followed by a brief choreography combo. Focus throughout class will be on weight shifts, accents, and musicality, as well as upper body placement as you make your gorgeous sounds!
