Mr Shawtyme is a professional Ghanaian dancer, choreographer, and creative director who is mostly recognized for his fusion of Afro Dance and Dancehall in his performances and music videos. He is also known for being one out of the four coaches that train the dancers in DWP Academy, the biggest dance academy in Africa.

Mr Shawtyme is a professional Ghanaian dancer, choreographer, and creative director who is mostly recognized for his fusion of Afro Dance and Dancehall in his performances and music videos. He is also known for being one out of the four coaches that train the dancers in DWP Academy, the biggest dance academy in Africa.

He is also known for some commercial works, choreographed routines, and other lifestyle content. He has worked with renowned artists in the world such as Mr Eazi , Raye , Wyclef , Major Lazer , Popcaan, DJ Flex , A Sta , King Promise, Afro B, DJ TUNEZ , Shatta Wal, Eugy, Chief Obi, EL, Guru, and many more . He taught workshops all over the world in countries such as Russia , China, Canada, United Kingdom, USA , Netherlands, German. He is also the Co founder of DWP USA Academy.

Class Descriptions

Afro Dance with Mr Shawtyme brings you the hottest AFRO dance moves from Ghana, West Africa filled with fun, energy, passion and lots of laughs. All level dancers are welcome.

Class will begin with a warm up session with songs from all over Africa . Dancers will then learn a few afro dance steps from Africa that includes the creators of the steps, the meaning of the steps and the history behind the steps. Choreography will then be broken down into smaller parts and thought with emphasis on technique and feeling.
