New York City native and MIT graduate, Joe Brown's passion for dance is met with his passion for engineering and entertainment design. His dual interests in theme park design and performing arts brought him to Los Angeles, receiving his masters degree in architecture at SCI-Arc. Over the years, he has worked successfully as a professional commercial dancer, choreographer, educator, creative director and entertainment designer. His innovative mix of stepping with a range of other styles, including Hip Hop, Dancehall, Afro, House and more is gaining momentum with even more upcoming television appearances, live shows, and music videos for major artists. His choreography credits include Beyoncé -Coachella and Homecoming (Netflix), So You Think You Can Dance (Season 15), NBC World of Dance (Season 1), and America’s Got Talent (Season 13). His dance credits include Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Nicki Minaj, Little Mix, Jidenna, Halsey, Daddy Yankee, Dawn Richard and more!

Class Descriptions

Step/Stroll is an all levels class that is part stepping and part grooves (Hip Hop, Dancehall, Afro, House). Students will get to learn the history of traditional African-American stepping, enhance their sense of rhythm, and learn old and new school party grooves. Joe will teach you how to "Step With Pride!"
