For Jess, the style of Theater Jazz dance is interpreted through musicality, character and strong individuality. It also includes dynamic levels, quick feet and commitment that is unapologetic. Jess’ movement is inspired and studied by choreographers and musical artists of the past. It is understood by the character those artists created and sculpted. On the opposite side, Jess’ movement can also be physically silly and fun as well. This class is to explore work driven from methodical processes of both musical style and character that will shape the ultimate Broadway performer.
