Class Descriptions

Taught from the perspective of a working choreographer, this contemporary class draws on the principles of traditional modern and ballet technique and repurposes them through a contemporary lens. The class emphasizes full spinal articulation, clarity of line, and dynamic textures. Dancers are challenged to explore nuance, precision, and individual expression within complex repertory work. The class is designed to build both the technical and artistic tools dancers need to succeed—and to strengthen their unique artistic voice.
