Donald Jones Jr. is based in NYC, and currently an original company member in Disney’s Frozen on Broadway. This New Orleans native is a graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Donald Jones Jr. is based in NYC, and currently an original company member in Disney’s Frozen on Broadway. This New Orleans native is a graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana. He received training from the New Orleans Ballet Academy, the American Dance Festival, and was a company member in Seattle's Spectrum Dance Theater under the direction of Tony-nominated choreographer, Donald Byrd. Other Broadway credits include: Aladdin OBC, CHICAGO; off-Broadway: Sweet Charity; Carnegie Hall’s West Side Story, and the second national tour of The Color Purple.
Donald was a participant in BAM’s DanceMotion USA where he performed and taught dance in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Choreography credits include the upcoming reboot of Blues Clues on Nickelodeons’ Nick Jr., BC BEAT, and BCEFA.

Donald’s Theater Jazz class focuses on style and performance while maintaining a strong technical foundation. Class begins with a warm up centered around the style and technical proficiency required from the choreography being shared in the class that day. Rhythmic variations are explored during across the floor exercises. The understanding of efficient and conscious movement is the goal throughout the class!
