Dario Natarelli has taught classes in tap dance and contemporary dance internationally and has been teaching tap dance at Broadway Dance Center for 8 years. He has trained and worked with Jared Grimes, Michelle Dorrance, Joshua Bergasse, Brice Mousset, and more. Some of his credits include: Original Broadway Cast of Illinoise, A New Broadway Musical by Justin Peck, Jackie Sibblies Drury, with music by Sufjan Stevens (Principal cover, Assistant Dance Captain, Fall Captain), Postmodern Jukebox (2024 Euro Tour, soloist tap dancer), Dance Captain & Swing for Justin Peck (Broadway Labs), Oliver! Class Descriptions
We will begin with a nice and easy warm up to prevent injuries and to ensure that our bodies are ready to dance. There will be a combination of several call-and-response exercises to train our ear and overall coordination. This is followed by a technique exercise and then a combination to work on picking up choreography quickly. I make sure that every class has a calm, focused, fun, and non-competitive environment as this is the best way to learn.
