Danny Lugo is the contemporary choreographer of greatest prestige in Puerto Rico and Latin America at the present time. He began dancing at age 12 as a Dancer at Dance Machine, a well known dance academy in Puerto Rico, owned by choreographers Sophy Sanfiorenzo and Joey Cheveres. Danny continued dancing in Puerto Rico for different local artists and TV shows.
In 1998 he began his career as a choreographer working with Luis Fonsi, David Bisbal, Wisin y Yandell and many more. Now as a professional choreographer in the music business Danny’s credits include: Main Choreographer for the Latin Billboard Awards, Latin Grammys, Premios Tu Mundo,Premios Juventud, Premios lo Nuestro, Miss World Puerto Rico, Miss Universe Puerto Rico. Danny is well known for his choreography and appearances as a judge and mentor on National Latin TV Networks on shows such as: The Voice Kids, Yo Me Llamo and Sabado Gigante.
He has also worked with artists such as: Black-Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado, T-Pain, Don Omar, Pitbull, Juanes, Sean Paul, Don Omar, Juan Luis Guerra, Thalia, Paulina Rubio, Olga Tanon, Jean Carlos Canela, Prince Royce, Gloria Stefan, Banda el Recodo, Carlos Vives, and Michel Telo.
In order to share his knowledge, Danny holds master-classes and has his own dance event: Puerto Rico International Dance Workshop to bring the latest tendencies of the dance commercial world and has included many International choreographers.
At the present time Danny’s home base is Puerto Rico and spends most of his time in Florida for the different TV programs and Central and South America touring with different musical performers.

This dance class is designed to teach a wide variety of dance styles in one class such as Hip-Hop, Latin, Jazz and other genres of dance. Emphasis is on the importance of musicality, rhythm and style. This class will encourage students how to prepare for the commercial dance industry and how to achieve their desired goals while dancing to different variety of music.
