Cristal Del Mar Lopez is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in New York City and Puerto Rico. She graduated from the specialized ballet school Julian E. Blanco in San Juan, PR. Cristal Del Mar Lopez is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in New York City and Puerto Rico. She graduated from the specialized ballet school Julian E. Blanco in San Juan, PR. While in Puerto Rico, she was part of the University of Puerto Rico’s dance team and participated in numerous productions, including Zarzuelas, Puerto Rico's Rockettes, and numerous ballet and musicals among other productions. In NYC, she was a member of Ashlé Dawson’s company, Latin Fusion Dance Project. She performed with the NYC based Puerto Rican company "Danza Fiesta" at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the opening of the Puerto Rican Day Parade. She has recently performed and assisted in works by Michelle Barber, Ashlé Dawson, Carlos Falú, Luis Salgado, Amanda Turner, and others. She is currently a dance teacher at Iconos Kids with Salgado Productions. Her choreography has been presented at Jazz Choreography Enterprises, Alpha Omega Dance Company's Studio to Stage, Café con Rumba, and Fuerza Fest, among others.

Cristal begins her classes with a warm-up that gets your entire body moving, concentrating on cardio and core exercises. Emphasizing technique, strength, and proper alignment, the warm-up helps guide students in improving their skills before moving into upbeat center combinations or across-the-floor exercises to apply their technical foundations. Cristal’s choreography blends musicality, style, and technique in a fun and safe environment.
