Class Descriptions

Tapping into the dancer’s sense of confidence and giving them skills and insight that are applicable to the real world of working in theater and dance is what this class is about. Creating a safe space to truly take a risk, so that risk-taking is not only happening in an audition room or performance space. A judgement-free zone where we uplift, inspire, and push one another to learn not only more about our craft, but about the human experience. A heavy focus on technique with a supple warm-up, full combination, and occasional across the floor prepares dancers for what will be asked of them in “the room.” This all happens in a nurturing, fun-loving environment where all are welcome and yes... there will be dad jokes.
