Camila Cardona is an Argentinian choreographer, performer, and educator based in New York City, working across musical theater, film, and dance-driven storytelling. Her work is deeply influenced by her Latin roots and a commitment to bridging commercial dance with narrative and performance.

Her recent stage credits include the revival of Evita at American Repertory Theater and Shakespeare Theatre Company, Carmen at Lincoln Center, and the world premiere of On Your Feet en Español. She contributed to the development of 3 Summers of Lincoln at La Jolla Playhouse. As a collaborator, she has worked closely with choreographer Gustavo Zajac as an associate on multiple projects. She also assisted and appeared in the upcoming film Otra, directed by Armani Ortiz and produced by Tyler Perry, set for release in 2026. This year, she also worked as a model for a dance campaign for HUE.

Throughout her career, Camila has collaborated with a range of influential artists across theater and film, including Tony Award–winning director Christopher Ashley, as well as Sammi Cannold, Luis Salgado, Jennifer Jancuska, and Jon Rua. She has also worked alongside multidisciplinary artists Karla Puno Garcia and Daniel J. Watts. These collaborations have shaped her approach to movement as both a performance and storytelling tool.

With over a decade of teaching experience across Latin America, Europe, and the United States, Camila has developed a dynamic and versatile approach to training that blends technique with performance to support dancers across different styles, from hip-hop to heels and theater jazz . Her classes emphasize musicality, confidence, and presence, creating an environment where dancers can grow both technically and artistically.

Proudly repping her roots, Camila is a graduate of ARTE XXI, an alum of ISD at Point Park University, and a trained artist from the prestigious Jacob’s Pillow program. Every performance is a tribute to her Latina heritage, her relentless discipline, and her deep love for the craft. Camila’s work is rooted in storytelling, cultural identity, and empowerment. Whether on stage, on camera, or in the studio, she is passionate about creating spaces where artists feel seen, challenged, and inspired to fully step into their artistic voice.
