Brooke Martin has dedicated her life to researching movement while sharing her philosophies in the process. She began building her foundation in a variety of styles at age two and by the age of twelve, she was working professionally/training with some of the industry’s most renowned choreographers. Traveling and performing at showcases such as The Pulse On Tour Gala, Love is Love Sybarite, Choreographer’s Carnival, and numerous others with her company AbstraKT Beings. Brooke was simultaneously maintaining her training by dancing competitively at Fusion Dance Force with her mentors Kyle and Amanda Preiser. She began experimenting with choreography when she was 14 and soon after choreographed a competition routine that went on to win first place at Show Stoppers Nationals. She has been fortunate enough to take her artistry abroad and spend extensive amounts of time in Europe working with various studios and companies, for example, Ground Zero Dance Company based in Amsterdam and Funkadelic Dance Studio in Spain, just to name a few. Additionally, she has completed a three-month residency in LA for Erica Sobol’s The Gypsy Program. This program was a catalyst for Brooke’s explorative body research and interest in the art as more than just a profession, but a way of life. After working so intimately with Tilman O’Donnell, Medhi Walerski, Jiri Pokorny, Jermaine Spivey & Spenser Theberge, and David Harvey, Brooke felt an awakening within her movement. During this program she had discovered her desire for alignment as well. Beginning every morning with yoga under the light and guidance of Kallie Miller-Hines, was a spiritual awakening for Brooke, leading her on her own journey to enlightenment through asanas. Since then she has had the honor of working closely with Ohad Naharin himself, at both the prestigious studio Orsolina 28 in Italy, and Tel Aviv’s home of Batsheva Company. Gaga has now become her most beloved form of movement, due to the connection between pleasure and aliveness. Although Brooke still spends a decent amount of time traveling, she currently resides in the heart of Brooklyn, New York.

All Levels Yoga and Meditation is an invitation to unify our minds and body through movement and pranayama (breathwork). The class will help us embody mindfulness and act as a moving meditation where we'll open, cleanse, and energize through postures designed to improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Connecting to presence while grounding and restoring our bodies, we'll explore our limitless selves with patience and gratitude. Listening closely to what the body desires, be it fire or serenity (a gracious way to cool down after a challenging class/day or heat up and start the week strong). We will embark on a journey, interconnected yet self-fulling, so whether this is your first time or you are a seasoned practitioner, there will be a satisfying path for you!
