Blue studied Dance and Language at The University of Vermont where she later returned to teach master classes and set choreographic work for stage. As a choreographer, she emphasizes storytelling to evoke emotion from audiences and create deep connection between the work and its performers. Her choreography has been showcased at venues such as Symphony Space, Highline Ballroom, Dixon Place, on ABC Television, and Off Broadway to name a few.
Sharing her necessity for movement and education with her students, Blue’s approach to teaching focuses on creative expression, foundation, inclusion, and authenticity. She is currently on Faculty at BDC’s Children and Teens Program and has taught nationally for Dance Theatre USA. Blue hopes to give dancers and students the inspiration to be authentic in their voices as artists.
