Andrew Solis' dance journey began in college, where he first joined a collegiate-based hip hop team, PUSO Modern. As a member Andrew not only performed but also served as the team’s director and choreographer, involved in many successful competitions and showcases throughout his college career.

Andrew Solis' dance journey began in college, where he first joined a collegiate-based hip hop team, PUSO Modern. As a member Andrew not only performed but also served as the team’s director and choreographer, involved in many successful competitions and showcases throughout his college career.

After graduating, Andrew dedicated himself to honing his craft, training in hip hop, street styles, and commercial choreography. His dedication to growth and artistic development led him to perform and share his work at New York showcases/stages such as Sybarite and The Jam. Andrew has also had the privilege to work and dance for international artists, including BTS and Stray Kids.

Today, Andrew shares his passion for hip hop and commercial choreography by teaching at some of New York’s most respected dance studios, including Broadway Dance Center, Peridance Capezio, and Modega. Once a student, always a student, Andrew continues to train with his mentors and teachers and strives to pass on the lessons he’s learned with others through his lens and artistic expression.

Class Descriptions

Andrew utilizes movement and concepts that stem from street styles such as Hip Hop, House and Popping. He puts a big emphasis on clarity and footwork and strengthens the connection of body awareness and mechanics throughout his teaching. Rhythm, timing, and attention to details are essential to Andrew’s choreography.
