Selena Hepburn started dancing at the age of seven in Chesterfield, VA where she enjoyed training in a wide variety of styles, competing, and performing at local events. As a teen she danced as an apprentice to the jazz company Fusion in Richmond, VA, at the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii, and as a back-up dancer for Hip-Hop artists. Selena Hepburn started dancing at the age of seven in Chesterfield, VA where she enjoyed training in a wide variety of styles, competing, and performing at local events. Selena began her teaching career in 2002, and starting in 2005 she created and directed dance programs at Woodlake Aquatic & Fitness Center and Milby's Just Kids. Since relocating to NYC in 2008, she continues to perform professionally, teach, and set choreography along the East Coast. She is currently co-artistic director of the contemporary ballet company PPB in NYC.
In the classroom, Selena strives to create a nurturing environment that not only challenges the students to work toward technical excellence, but also encourages them to find and express their unique voice as an artist.
