Uprooted Jazz Intensive
ABOUT
The UPROOTED/BDC jazz dance intensive will physically explore the historical roots of jazz dance with some of the industry’s finest educators, including some of the film's very own artists and experts. Workshops will include African dance, Authentic jazz, Afro Latin Fusion, Hip Hop, Theatrical Jazz, Jo Jo Smith works and Tap. Participants will also have the bonus of an exclusive screening of the multi award-winning ‘UPROOTED – The Journey of Jazz Dance’ a feature-length documentary celebrating the history, lineage, and future progressions of jazz dance. plus a Q&A with some of the film's cast of experts.
