Summer Pro Sem

Summer Professional Semester

About

Our 5-week Summer Professional Semester training program is designed to give pre-professionals a glimpse of what our 4-month Professional Semester offers. This abridged program provides intermediate/advanced dancers the opportunity to train in the Musical Theater and Commercial Street Styles genres in the heart of New York City. Dancers will choose a concentration for the program's duration (Musical Theater or Commercial Street Styles).

After your first week of orientation (which includes assessments, headshot/resume writing, an Injury Prevention seminar & advisement), you will dive into two weeks of focused training in Musical Theater and Commercial Street Styles. Each week will conclude with a mock audition with a NYC talent agent.

The final two weeks of your program will shift to learning and setting choreography for your in-studio summer showcase in front of your peers and industry professionals. Dancers will also have the opportunity to showcase their own works during this performance.
