Ever wonder which muscles we use to dance?  Enhance your dance skills with practical anatomy; the first of a new series of classes! Each class will discuss the anatomy of different regions of the body in motion. This class will explore anatomy in motion and teach the dancer how to identify and use the correct muscles in warm up, technique, and conditioning exercises to achieve greater anatomical awareness, reduce the risk of injury, and improve their overall dancing. Through a series of exercises and visual presentations, students will learn the bones, the names of major muscle groups, the actions they produce, joint motion, and basic anatomical terms. First up: Anatomy of the Core!
