Summer Training Program

ABOUT

Broadway Dance Center’s Summer Training Program offers a 4-week multi-disciplinary program over the summer in New York City.

This 4-week session provides a nurturing atmosphere of concentrated study for advanced dancers ages 18+. Get a taste of the dance industry in New York City with private curated classes in a variety of genres, networking opportunities, mock auditions that provide real-world experience, and a final concept video.

Summer 2025 Session: June 23-July 18

PROGRAM DETAILS

The Summer Training Program is a chance for advanced dancers to immerse themselves in BDC's legendary training in the heart of New York City. Each session features:

Orientation and welcome to BDC; Dancers can work with staff to curate their weekly schedule
8 classes weekly from our drop-in schedule
Daily closed master classes (M-F)
Two weekly rehearsals with faculty choreographer
Concept video shoot with classmates
Mock audition/industry Q & A
Edited professional video of your concept piece
Full-time staff to guide dancers' studies
Certificate upon successful completion of the program

Registration & Price

Early Bird Rate: $2600 (Before March 23, 2025)

$2750 (After March 23, 2025)

Payment deadline is June 9, 2025.

1. BDC will notify you of your acceptance by email.

2. Upon acceptance, full tuition is due. You will be sent a link to pay online. We accept credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover, or Amex). Full payment must be made by June 9, 2025 to secure your spot.

3. Once your tuition has been received, BDC will issue your official acceptance packet.

A refund can be requested up to 30 days prior to the start of the session less a 10% admin fee; no refunds will be given within 30 days of the start of the session. The $25 application fee is non-refundable. No refunds given for any absences during the session.

Instructions

Please read the application instructions thoroughly and submit all application materials with care. Applications are considered based on dance training and professionalism.

Materials you will need for the application form:

Dance résumé
Headshot or dance photo
Three minute YouTube or Vimeo URL. Please begin the video by speaking directly to the camera, stating your name, where you're from, and why you want to join the Summer Training Program at Broadway Dance Center. The first minute should be in Ballet, Jazz or Musical Theater. The second minute should demonstrate hip-hop/Street style or contemporary movement. The third minute can be a style of the applicant's choosing.
