Erica Ratkovicz (she/her) is an alumna company member of The Rochester City Ballet. She began her principal training at an early age with The Timothy Draper Center for Dance Education. As a young dancer, Erica attended several intensive programs including CPYB and The Joffrey Ballet New York. She has performed numerous soloist and corps de ballet roles along with Joffrey Ensemble, Boston Ballet, Hartford Ballet, and Pittsburgh Ballet. She was a soloist in both a promotional film aired on Oprah and an unreleased film choreographed by Alex Tressor. Her modeling photos have been seen in Dance Teacher, Pointe Magazine, book covers, Discount Dance Supply and Art Stone the Competitor.
Erica was the rehearsal assistant for Men on Pointe. She has taught programs and classes at Rochester City Ballet, NYU Tisch Program, Broadway Bound Dance Center and is the Director of Dance and instructor for Brookwood Camp Summer Intensive. Recipient of Platinum Medal awards as well as High Point and Overall competition scores from New York Dance Champions, Rochester Invitational, Rising Star, New York Dance Olympics, Star Power, North American Dance Experience and Starbound. As an instructor, she has been presented with Choreographer Awards from Nexstar, Beyond the Stars, Groove and Headliners and Entertainment Awards from Groove, Headliners, and Beyond the Stars Nationals.
Erica is honored to be part of Broadway Dance Center. She looks forward to bringing her knowledge to help mold future dancers while creating wonderful experiences.

Pop Ballet a fun twist on classical ballet class incorporating all types of music. I’m a strong believer you can dance ballet to anything and this class will bring out your musicality, artistry and timing. Musical genre such as Pop, Rock, Oldies, Hits, Broadway and beyond.
2-5+ years dance experience.
Suggested Foot Attire: turners, Lyrical shoe, high ankle dance sock
An energetic and challenging class designed to strengthen your technique and sharpen your skills.
Class begins with a brief center warm-up and stretch. Across the floor combinations focus on clean execution and seamless transitions.
Expect a variety of leaps-like saut de chats, switch leaps, calypsos and more.
Turns including pirouettes, fouettés, and à la seconde, as well as variations of tilts and leg extensions.
Modifications are offered to meet you where you are and push you further.
Every class includes a short guided improvisation to explore your individuality and creative movement.
