Jesse Robb is a New York City based choreographer, and associate choreographer for the Broadway revival of Miss Saigon. Up next he is working on Beauty and the Beast at North Shore, A Connecticut Christmas Carol at Goodspeed, and will be choreographing Ragtime at Ogunquit Playhouse.
Jesse recently worked with Lisa Shriver on the brand new productions of Disney’s Once Upon a Song, and The Golden Mickeys. He was commissioned to choreograph three new works for the Turner Classic Movie Company based on the MGM Classics, The Bandwagon, Top Hat, and 42nd street. He recently choreographed a new Circus show entitled Volo for Circus Arts, Toronto and premiered a new work at Plymouth State University. Some of Jesse’s original pieces have been featured in New York City at NYU’s Retrospective and City Centre.
In Toronto, Jesse worked as Dance Captain/Swing for the world premiere of The Lord of the Rings at the Princess of Wales theatre, Dance Captain and Associate Resident Choreographer for the international hit We Will Rock You at the Canon Theatre, and Resident Choreographer for the North American premiere of Dirty Dancing at the Royal Alexandra theatre.
Other performing credits include Cirque Du Soleil’s Zumanity, Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, the Kevin Wynn Collection, Momix, the 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremonies, and the First National Touring company of FAME.
