Erick Bateman is a multidisciplinary artist who currently resides in New York City. A graduate from the University of North Carolina - School of the Arts, Erick has an extensive technical understanding of the body from studying techniques such as Graham, Cunningham, Limon, and Countertechnique. Mr. Bateman is also a demonstrator with AcrobaticArts, a comprehensive training and certification program that provides an in-depth understanding of acrobatic progressions to teachers and studio owners. Through AcrobaticArts, Erick has been in concentrated educational settings as an assistant such as Dance Teacher Summit and Accelerate Acro Convention, thanks to Drew Burgess.
His most recent credits include Dylan Pearce, Evan Wilkins, Sissa Strain, Mike Baerga, and Broadway Dance Center as a regular substitute teacher. Erick values bringing the excitement of education to the new generation of dance through teaching technique and progressions to all students of dance.

Intermediate/Advanced Acro is for those students who have a strong foundation in Acro that show consistency is stills that include, but are not limited to, Bridging, Handstands, and Walkovers, allowing ease of flow to progress into Acro variations and tumbling. The focus of this class will be strength, flexibility, walkover variations, balancing, AcroDace, and tumbling. Class will start with a barefoot dance-based warm up, moving into stationary skills and progressions, then moving across the mats.
