BDC Online Jr. Summer Program 3-week session will curate schedules for each dancer based on individual interests, skills, and goals. With professional guidance, limited capacity, master classes, and full access to our elite faculty - be inspired to dance with BDC this summer!

Orientation Dates:
Session 1: Sunday, July 11th, 2021 6:00 PM
All sessions will be held Monday - Friday within the hours of 10:00 AM - 8:15 PM*

*Program classes can be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 10AM and 8:15PM EDT.
The weekly masterclass and seminar will be held on Wednesdays between 4PM-6PM EDT. (Subject to change)
Program Details
Choose your style concentration: Ballet, Jazz/Contemporary, Musical Theater, Hip-Hop/Street Styles, or Tap

Each session is 3-weeks long. Each week, dancers will create schedules from our livestream offerings to fulfill their weekly class requirements. Classes will be between the hour of 10AM-8:15PM EDT, Monday-Friday.
Requirements
- Dancers ages 13-18
- Intermediate to Advanced levels
How to Apply
We ask that dancers have at least three years of dance training.
Please fill out the JSP Application Form that includes the following:
- Basic information and Emergency Contact.
- Dance résumé detailing previous training and performance experience.
- Two or more professional or personal dance photos that best demonstrate your technical ability and strongest style.
- Audition Video via YouTube or Vimeo URL.
- Please begin the video by speaking directly into the camera, stating your name, where you're from, and why you want to join the Junior Summer Program at BDC.
- For dancers choosing a concentration in Ballet, Jazz/Contemporary, or Musical Theater: 1 minute demonstrating your technical aptitude by displaying straightforward center ballet-based work (tombé, pas de bourré, assemble, tendu fourth, pirouette, land fourth; and a grande jeté or saut de chat for example) PLUS one minute of the intended style of your concentration.
- For dancers choosing a concentration in Hip-Hop/Street Styles or Tap: 1 minute demonstrating your intended style of concentration. Optional: 1 additional minute of an alternate style of your choice.
Broadway Dance Center will notify you via email upon acceptance — you must have a valid email address.

Tuition & Payment
$750 Per Session
We accept credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover, or Amex)
*Non refundable application fee of $25 will be charged. Must pay tuition within 7 days of acceptance to the program. No refunds will be given for any absences not made up during the period of study.

Scholarship Opportunity:
Scholarship for Underrepresented Artists
Broadway Dance Center offers a scholarship opportunity for our Online Junior Summer Program and our Online Summer Intensive Series for applicants who are underrepresented in dance. The scholarship will be awarded to a dancer with a unique perspective, inclusive of race, color, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age or physical ability. Applicants can receive more information and scholarship application by emailing Workshops@bwydance.com.
