Broadway Dance Center’s Online Choreography Intensive is your opportunity to train and create with us from anywhere!

Our NEW Online Choreography Program will guide you to achieve your personal and professional dance choreography goals within a versatile community of choreographers. This 2-week program will connect you to world renowned BDC Faculty through mentoring sessions, workshops, and master classes, while our diverse selection of online classes will keep you training in the dance style of your choice.

Program Details

  • Focused genre and creative workshops
  • Intimate workshops with BDC faculty on choreographic process
  • Personal feedback from BDC Faculty on creative projects and choreography
  • 5 classes per week from our BDC online livestream schedule (personally scheduled to suit participants schedule)
  • Certificate upon successful completion of the program

Requirements

  • Experienced dancers ages 16+
  • Must have at least 5 years of dedicated study in chosen style

How to Apply

To apply, please send the following to OnlinePrograms@bwydance.com.

  1. Completed Application Form
  2. Dance résumé
  3. Statement of intent and creative project(s)
  4. One-minute video that displays your choreographic style with a brief introduction of yourself (YouTube or Vimeo link)

BDC will notify you via email upon acceptance - you must have a valid email address.

In order to create an intimate, creative environment, number of accepted participants will be limited. We encourge applicants to apply now!

Tuition & Payment

Regular Rate
$300
 Application Deadline: Apr 2, 2021
  • Includes 2-week online program, including all classes, seminars, master classes, and mentoring sessions

Once you are accepted into the program, a payment of $300 is due by Apr 4 to secure your spot.
Upon acceptance, you will be sent a link via email to pay online.

A student wishing to withdraw from the program must notify Broadway Dance Center prior to Apr 2, 2021. There are no refunds once you have begun the program, and no refunds will be given for any absences not made up during your period of study. Any approved withdrawals before the start of the program will incur a $50 administration fee.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Scholarship for Underrepresented Artists

Broadway Dance Center offers a scholarship opportunity for the Choreographic intensive for applicants who are underrepresented in dance. The scholarship will be awarded to an artist with a unique perspective, inclusive of race, color, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age or physical ability.
