Paulette Lewis Children & Teens Bio

Paulette Lewis, a Wisconsin native, holds a BA in Dance from Point Park University. Upon completing her degree in three years, Paulette moved to NYC in pursuit of dance, art, and culture. For the last 10 years, Paulette has taught for studios throughout Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. As a teacher, Paulette feels strongly about empowering the next fleet of artistic voices; creating strong work ethics, instilling confidence in self and decision making, practicing active listening, and shaping young people to be flexible and accepting in both body and mind. Currently, Paulette is the Director of the Steffi Nossen Dance Company, a pre-professional youth ensemble that has been established for 80 years. She is also the Director of Marketing and Communications for the CURRENT SESSIONS, a NYC based performing arts organization that develops and presents the work of emerging artists.
