Grant Paylor is a New York City based choreographer, performer, and dance instructor raised in Richmond, Virginia. He earned his BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University, trained in the Middle East and West Africa, and has performed globally across the U.S., Mexico, Israel, and Japan.

Grant swung the Chicago National Tour, has been involved in Broadway workshops, and enjoys choreographing across levels and styles, including Fosse, Jazz Funk, Modern, and Theatre.

Grant’s Jazz Funk class spotlights musicality, flow, and groove. Class begins with a high-energy warm up that prepares the body for textures and techniques explored in class. Combos feature a mixture of commercial and classic jazz elements, allowing dancers to layer on dynamics, performance, and personality.
