Natasha “Ivory” Markwick is a Danish dancer, choreographer, and educator based in New York City. Rooted in Hip-Hop and House, she began her training with pioneers of the culture before relocating to NYC in 2012 to further develop her artistry and deepen her cultural understanding.

Her performance and choreographic work has taken her across South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and the United States. Natasha has performed and toured with artists and companies including Madonna, Mr. Vegas, Rennie Harris, Sherrie Silver, Luis Salgado, and Soul Steps. Her work has been featured on platforms such as BET, Telemundo, Nike, Women in the World, Hip Hop Paris, Jägermeister, and Konpa Kingdom.
Natasha’s work centers on creating high-energy, musically driven experiences that empower dancers to connect deeply to rhythm, individuality, and self-expression. Her practice explores the relationship between improvisation, musicality, and embodied choreography while honoring the social and cultural foundations of the forms she represents.
Known for her dynamic technique and intricate musicality, Natasha’s movement quality blends fluidity with precision, resulting in a style that is both graceful and powerfully resonant.

Through grooves, footwork, and across-the-floor exploration, dancers will train the core vocabulary and foundations of House. This class emphasizes musicality, rhythm, and flow, guiding dancers to build a deeper connection to the music while developing their own voice within the form. Dancers will build stamina and control while exploring the many layers of House through drills and choreography, including movement across levels from floorwork to standing. Open to all levels
