Professional Semester Audition Tour

Join us for an in-person audition for BDC's elite training program!

This event gives you the opportunity to audition for the Professional Semester in person. Selected candidates from each audition will be given automatic acceptance into our prestigious 4-month Professional Semester program.

Our Professional Semester offers the advanced technical training, professionalism skills, and powerful networking opportunities to help you launch a sustainable career in dance. The Professional Semester is for advanced dancers ages 18+.

The Professional Semester Audition is FREE to register. Those selected will receive guaranteed acceptance to the course (Fall 2025 or Spring 2026) and a waiver of the application fee. 

UPCOMING AUDITION DATES

• March 30, 2025 | 4-6pm at BDC's W65th St. location

AUDITION TIMELINE

• 3:30pm: check-in
• 4-4:30pm: Ballet Barre
• 4:30-5:30pm: Musical Theater/Jazz
• 5:30-6:15pm: Hip Hop/Street Styles

AUDITION PREPARATION

• Multi-disciplinary audition including technique, progressions, theater dance, and street styles.
  No need to prepare a solo. Audition material will be taught on-site.
• Bring headshot and résumé. 

• Should you be accepted, we will instruct you on other application materials needed to secure your spot.   

If you cannot attend one of our auditions, we are still accepting video submissions as detailed on the Professional Semester page.
