Eliah James Furlong hails from the picturesque bluegrass of Kentucky. He is a passionate dancer and choreographer with a rich tapestry of experiences. Having trained at esteemed institutions, such as the Ailey School, Joffrey Ballet School, Milwaukee Ballet, The Kentucky Governors School for the Arts, and The Institute for American Musical Theatre, he champions being a versatile storyteller. His journey has taken him on tour with Bella Moxi Dance Convention, where he assisted renowned figures like Mia Michaels, Alex Little, Carlos Dos Santos, and Chase Benz.
In addition to teaching, Eliah enjoys using dance to tell stories. He has experience choreographing shows such as The Prom, Shoulda Been You, Urinetown, and Cinderella, among others regionally. In 2019, Eliah co-founded Dance On Set, a venture dedicated to helping professional dancers and choreographers obtain high-quality footage for their portfolios. Eliah's greatest passion lies in performance, storytelling, and sharing the joy of movement. Movement from many dance styles is incorporated to develop versatility, storytelling skills, and musicality.
Eliah's tap class focuses on mastering technique in a fun and efficient manner. Whether you're new to tap or looking to improve your skills and ankle coordination, this class is ideal for you. Similar to his theater classes, Eliah fosters a supportive and enjoyable environment for learning and personal growth.
