Demi Remick is a YoungArts Gold Award winner in Dance, one of Dance Magazine’s 2014 Top-25-To-Watch, a Presidential Scholar in the Arts nominee, a Groove master teacher and adjudicator, SUNY Purchase’s Junior Dance Award Recipient and a Capezio Athlete. Demi Remick is a YoungArts Gold Award winner in Dance, one of Dance Magazine’s 2014 Top-25-To-Watch, a Presidential Scholar in the Arts nominee, a Groove master teacher and adjudicator, SUNY Purchase’s Junior Dance Award Recipient and a Capezio Athlete. Demi tours worldwide as the tap dance soloist for Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, where she performs at venues like the Sydney Opera House and Radio City Music Hall. She is a feature soloist in Austin McCormick’s Company XIV and a member of Caleb Teicher & Company.
Demi has also danced for ‘Bessie’ award-winning company Dorrance Dance with Michelle Dorrance, ‘Emmy award-winning’ Jason Samuels Smith’s company A.C.G.I., and Lisa La Touche’s TapPhonics. She has also worked with Emma Portner and The Flock, Bill T. Jones at the Kennedy Center, and with Monica Bill Barnes & Company. She is an alumnus of the Tap Program at Jacob’s Pillow, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and the Juilliard Summer Dance Program.
Demi is a certified Yoga instructor and teaches/performs dance internationally. She earned her BFA in Dance Performance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance where she performed works by Azure Barton, José Limón, Alexandra Beller, Trisha Brown, Xan Burley and Doug Varone.

Demi's tap class will push your tap technique, musicality, and full performance abilities. She wants you to laugh as much as you sweat! Class will be sure to warm up all the major muscle groups, move across the floor and tackle a combination by the end of class.
Demi strives to meet each student at the level they’re at with personal attention and individualized critiques. Class will get to the root and problem solve common tap challenges like relaxed ankles, weight shifting and strengthening. She prioritizes cultivating a light hearted class environment where students work hard and support tap dancers of all styles and interests.
