Leslie Feliciano Headshot 2018

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Leslie Feliciano has been active as a dancer and choreographer for over two decades. Known for his infectious personality and dynamic approach to dance, Leslie regularly teaches at Broadway Dance Center and Crunch gyms in New York City.

Additionally, Leslie travels the globe leading workshops and conventions, teaching master classes, and staging choreography in such varied countries as Australia, Japan, Peru, Italy, Slovenia, Sweden, and Dubai.

Keenan Cooks

Keenan Cooks was born and raised in Boston, MA, and began dancing at the age of 14. Just two years later, he became a member of Boston-based Nia Dance Troupe, where he first began his professional training.

Valerie Ho (she/her), also known as “Ms. Vee,” is a multi-faceted dancer and performer whose movement background includes Hip-Hop (Freestyle, Breaking, Popping, Locking), House, Chinese Dance, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Swing, Salsa, Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu), Capoeira, and Yoga.

Raymond "Spex" Abbiw's career took off and he appeared in music videos with such artists as Mariah Carey, Joe, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and more.  

Spex also toured internationally in Japan and France. He made his Off-Broadway debut in the 2002 Full Circle Productions' production, Soular Power'd at the New Victory theater.  He continues as a member of the Full Circle Dance Company touring throughout the U.S. and abroad including the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

Jared Jenkins is originally from Philadelphia, PA, but now resides in New York, NY. After Graduating from Georgetown University in 2006 with a degree in Finance, he decided to explore dance and take his first dance class. Since then, he has had the opportunity to train with the top choreographers in the industry.

Candace Brown

Candace Brown (she/her) is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor with a huge passion for the art of dance. She has taught in Los Angeles as faculty at Debbie Reynolds Studio, Millennium Dance Complex, and Edge PAC. She has also taught around the world in various countries like Japan, Spain, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Greece, Poland, Ireland, and Amsterdam, as well as across the US. 

Korie Genius

Korie Genius was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He has studied various styles of Hip-Hop, and specializes in Dancehall as well as styles like Flexing, Krumping, and Popping. Korie is always open to new styles and new ideas. He loves to broaden his visions of dance every day by taking classes and train with the best choreographers in the city.

He has been performing for over a decade in various venues all around America.

Shirlene Amber Quigley

Shirlene Quigley was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and has now moved to New York City. She is best known for her work as a professional dancer and teacher. She has performed all over the world at arenas world wide touring with some of the biggest stars of our generation, dancing on television, commercial, film, and in Music videos with artists such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Destiny's Child, Missy Elliot, Mary J Blige, Jamie Foxx, Ray J, PorcelainBlack, Lil Romeo, Ashanti, Fantasia, Jaheim, Mohombi, and many more. 

Bev Brown is a teaching icon at BDC (most of our Hip-Hop faculty used to take classes with Bev!) She has a way of giving her students the confidence and skillz to stand out in an audition, or at the club. 

Carlos Neto, BDC Faculty

In 1991, at the age of 6, Carlos Neto (he/him) trained in martial arts intensively throughout Europe. During the 1990s and early 2000s he achieved recognition at both national and international competitions. In 1998 he joined the cast of a primetime TV series in Portugal, his home country, and had several appearances in the film industry. He moved to the UK in 2004 where he trained as a dancer and also earned his BA and Masters Degree in International Journalism at Cardiff University.
