At the age of 17, Dean Lee began training professionally in central London, on scholarship at the prestigious Urdang Academy. He focused on becoming a versatile and well rounded dancer, studying Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Hip-Hop, and Musical Theater.
Neil “80s Baby” Schwartz has been dancing since the age of seven. After graduating from the University of Maryland and moving to NYC, he has had the privilege to work with Rhapsody James, Luam, Lisette, Chonique, Eric Jenkins, and more. He has choreographed for artists such as ASTR, Bosco, Wynter Gordon, Rome Fortune, Mateo, PUSH PLAY, TT the Artist, Oyinda, RIVRS, and more.
Eric Jenkins (he/him) was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Maryland. After he received his Bachelors of Arts degree from University of Maryland Baltimore County, he moved to New York in 1995. Working closely with the New York Knicks and New York Liberty, he has choreographed numerous routines for the Knicks City Dancers, Knicks City Kids, Liberty Torch Patrol, and Lil' Torches.
Luam is a long time faculty member of BDC. She has choreographed for TV, commercial campaigns (MTV's Hip-Hop Week, Mastercard, As The World Turns, etc.) and various recording artists (Kris, Joe Buddens, etc.). She has also danced for Ludacris, Kelis, Kanye West, Kevin Lyttle, Ashanti, etc.. She has worked with Ciara, Mashonda, Nelly Furtado, Fergie, Busta Rhymes; choreographed for Fila, and Def Jam artist Rihanna on stages and screens all over the world and in the US. Luam also teaches master workshops and performs with her group internationally.
Aurelia Michael was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She began her dance training at the Dance Theatre of Harlem, and continued studying at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Aurelia is a graduate of the Broadway Dance Center Summer Professional Semester, as well as the Motivating Excellence Mentoring Program under the direction of Rhapsody James.
Alex Fetbroth, a proud native of Woburn, Massachusetts, has 19 years of dancing under his belt. His training in Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, and many other dance styles have made him both a very open minded and versatile dancer.
Danny Lugo is the contemporary choreographer of greatest prestige in Puerto Rico and Latin America at the present time. He began dancing at age 12 as a Dancer at Dance Machine, a well known dance academy in Puerto Rico, owned by choreographers Sophy Sanfiorenzo and Joey Cheveres. Danny continued dancing in Puerto Rico for different local artists and TV shows.
Born and raised in New York City, Princess Lockerooo (she/her) is a multi-faceted performance artist, with talents encompassing choreography and artistic direction & music production for stage and film, costume and makeup design. This dynamic diva has been an advocate of bringing the popular and expressive 1970s disco era dance style Waacking back into the spotlight.
Ian Mckenzie began dancing in his 20's. Even though he did not have prior experience in any style of dance, he knew had a passion for music and movement. In 2001 he joined a dance troupe called Phunk Phenomenon from "America's Best Dance Crew." Dedicated to learning the art, he went from dancer to lead choreographer within two years. During that time he choreographed for the Boston Celtics and Kiss 108 concerts and also worked closely with recording artists such as Jordan Knight.
Deborah Y. Wilson (Debbie), is a New York City based Choreographer, Performer and Dance Educator. Recently, Debbie was the Apprentice to Choreographer JoAnn Hunter for the Broadway Musical Bad Cinderella. She also was the Apprentice to Director/Choreographer Jerry Mitchell for the Broadway Musical Pretty Woman National Tour (101 Productions).
