Having taught at conventions, dance studios, and universities, Jamal Story brings a wealth of experience to his classes. Based in strong technique in several disciplines, Jamal’s classes help dancers marry physical aptitude with performance and storytelling goals.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Ryan Spencer has been in involved in the arts since the age of 3. Training with numerous studios around the metro, he became independent at 15 years old and started traveling nationally and internationally to take class, perform, and choreograph.
David Parsons founded Parsons Dance in 1987, and since then, he has created more than 80 works for the company, through commissions from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, the American Dance Festival, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, New York City Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, the Spoleto Festival and Het Muziektheater in Amsterdam, among others. His works have also been performed by Batsheva Dance Company of Israel, English National Ballet, Feld Ballets/NY, Hubbard Street Dance Company, Nederlands Dans Theatre and Paris Opera Ballet, among many others.
Lindsay Nelko has established herself as a choreographer whose conceptual vision and execution has moved audiences around the world. Unique, diverse and theatrical, her work stands out as high-impact and extremely powerful. Lindsay has had the honor and privilege to be mentored by one of the industry's leading Directors/Choreographers, Brian Friedman. With his support and guidance Lindsay's work has become varied and always inspiring. He has said, "She has an insane gift."
Chalvar Monteiro, a native of New Jersey, began his formal dance training at Sharron Miller's Academy for the Performing Arts, and went on to study at The Ailey School under the direction of Denise Jefferson. Earning a degree in dance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance.
Mr. Monteiro joined Abraham.In.Motion in June 2010 and assisted Kyle Abraham in setting work on the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, as well as at Emory University and Barnard College.

Austin McCormick’s work has been presented at the Kennedy Center, LA MAMMA, Symphony Space, The Flea, Alvin Ailey Theater, Walter Reade Theater, Mark Morris Dance Center- and internationally in London, Mexico, Scotland, and Montreal. His work has been seen at the TED Conference, on Logo’s New Now Next Awards, and TLC’s The Cake Boss.
